Gwendolyn The Graceful Pig From The Ballet Stage To Hollywood This Spring, American Liberty Ballet…
Welcome to New York Suite-y,” is a delightfully twisted take on the holiday classic that follows Clara, Fritz, and family on a visit their grandparents and Uncle Drosselmeyer in (where else?!) but New York, Suite-y!
Love is hard–finding the right person can be a lifelong struggle. But being a god and falling for a mortal woman? Messy! Oh, and imagine being that mortal woman–and having Venus as a mother-in-law?! Yikes! Yet that’s exactly what happens when Cupid, god of love and son of Venus, falls for the human Psyche–much to mom’s chagrin.
Witness the timeless story from mythology in this world premiere: a story of hope, faith, and the incredible power of love, a power so great that it can vex the gods themselves.

ALB artist Allan McCormick has teamed up with director Valerie Mae Browne to create a new version of Swan Lake for American Liberty Ballet. Set as a two act ballet, this version combines the delicate beauty of ballet’s dearest tradition, with harsher tones brought on by our sadness for the loss of man’s relationship with nature.
