This year we are specifically raising funds to support the payment of dancers for the International Ballet Festival for Union City, as well as the addition of a secondary studio space. The Ballet Festival is an important community outreach show reaching hundreds of local residents. It is important to keep introducing ballet to new and young audiences for the survival of the art form, and ALB is proud to often be the first experience for many people! Our professional dancers work very hard, and your support of their efforts is greatly appreciated! The second studio space is also an important element in our new year as we have been struggling to offer enough classes during after school hours. Since we are a ballet academy, ballet largely occupies the main studio and we need a secondary in order to offer other important forms of dance like jazz, modern, and hip hop. The company also needs more space to rehearse so that we can use our time together in a more efficient way and produce quality shows!
